Ask Captain America

Well, ma’am, one thing that’s always disappointed me is our tendency to judge by appearance rather than personality or merit.  I’d like for us humans to grow more accepting of each other.  If that were different, anything’d be possible, if you ask me.

Erm, that’s very gracious of you, ma’am.  I do sort of wish people would calm down about all this, though.  “Love” is a strong word..

For now?  Staying associated with S.H.I.E.L.D. - Director Fury has my trust.  Trying to stop the bombing, on top of returning the Tesseract to the aliens, shows he’s got the people’s interests in mind.

Holding my breath with anticipation.

I-…wow.  Thank you for your kind words, but I’m no role model, son.  You don’t need role models.  Just trust in yourself and do good by the people around you.

The real heroes are the ones without superpowers.

Adjusting, as ever, Ma’am.  This is actually helping, believe it or not.  Certainly couldn’t have been Stark’s intention.

Honestly, I couldn’t believe my eyes.  And neither could anyone else in the room.  For all the pain that the war brought me, I’ll always be grateful that I got this chance.  It’s a burden, but we all have burdens to bear.

“Sounds like,” Doctor?  I went into this with my eyes open about that.  But who knows, it might turn out for the best.  So far I’ve got nothing but good folk sending me questions.  Honestly, don’t know why Stark’s always joking about the internet being “horrifying.”
